So when making phone calls at work I started randomly writing about the songs that I was forced to listen to while on hold. At first I thought it would be fun if I could jut figure out what song it was and the artist responsible, but in time my desire to critique the songs escalated. With the desire to critique also comes the overwhelming need to poke fun at all the terrible songs that I was involuntarily listening to once I was put on hold. Hopefully someone besides me will find the results mildly entertaining.
1. "Stop the World," (and I'll melt with you). -Big Audio Dynamite--I think
2. "Baby I Love Your Way" -Peter Frampton
3. elevator music -artist unknown
4. Piano Concerto -unknown
5. Nintendo style keyboard music -Rad
6. Mozart -what symphony, #5,7,or9 would be my guess
7. Piano Concerto -unknown
8. Classical Orchestra w/ lead trumpet "Piratey, swashbuckling"-unknown
9. Elevator music - Awful- no one should know
10. Religious w/Spanish guitar -unknown
11. Bad smooth Jazz -unknown
next day
1. Terrible smooth Jazz -untrustworthy, like a Lary Bird style moustache or a snarky leisure suit
2. Funky 80's -tolerable
3. John Mayer -Trite, crap, whatever song it is
4. Awful early 80's -sentimental, piano nonsense...boring, easily calling out for help-style...creepy...next crappy piano song of same style, reminds me of average looking puppies
5. Standard Violin concerto -unknown
6. I don't know what to call it 90's-esque refreshingly tacky Jazz...nope getting worse, farther into smooth Jazz oblivion,... ah Kenny G. just winked at me...not creepy at all...wait a minute there isn't even any saxophone in this song...yikes.
